Getting started
If you're ready to take the next step toward growth and change, here's what to expect when you join us at B.E.T.H.

Getting started
Welcome to B.E.T.H.
Every individual comes to us with a unique set of gifts, challenges, and circumstances. So it makes sense that no two treatment plans are the same. Our ABA services are grounded in scientific principles and methodologies that are designed to provide the optimal conditions to observe, collect data, and assist in a systematic way.
How it works
Regardless of your diagnosis or the behavior you want to target, a B.E.T.H. Services treatment plan generally follows this process:
Registration
Our clients begin by filling out the registration form found below. If you or your child have received a primary diagnosis of autism, we ask for your insurance information.
Interview
Once registration is completed, we schedule an interview with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). At that time, we gather additional information that is unique to you. This includes a medical history of the client, current medications, and dietary restrictions. We also discuss your (or your child’s) behavioral concerns and what you would like to see change during your time working with us.
Recommendations for treatment
Based on all of the above, we work with you to decide the best location for treatment (in-clinic or in-home) and determine a preliminary recommendation for the number of hours for treatment.
Assessments
Based on the recommendations for treatment, B.E.T.H. determines the most appropriate behavioral assessment and works with you to schedule a time to complete the initial assessment. (For more on the assessments that we use at B.E.T.H., please see our Services page.)
Report to insurance provider
After the assessment is completed, we submit our treatment evaluation plan (ASTR) to you and your insurance carrier. The treatment plan includes:
Our recommended behavioral script (or number of hours recommended for treatment),
A detailed report outlining goals and milestones (for both client and parent),
Program schedule, and
Behavior graphs. Insurance companies require us to submit the treatment plan at the start of your initial intake and (depending on your carrier) every six months thereafter.
Schedule first ABA session
Once insurance approves the ASTR, we are ready to begin our first ABA session together! Welcome to B.E.T.H. Services!
Quarterly updates
You will receive quarterly updates on your current treatment or family member’s treatment, as requested.
